These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the PrimeLock website, retailer application, customer device-management application, administrative portal and related services (together, the “Services”). By creating an account, enrolling a device or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use PrimeLock for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.
1. Purpose of the Services
PrimeLock provides tools for authorised retailers, financing businesses and their distribution network to manage financed-device onboarding, EMI schedules and collections, device status and permitted Android management controls. PrimeLock is not a bank, lender, payment system or debt-collection agency. The retailer or financing business remains responsible for the underlying sale, loan, disclosures, collections and customer relationship.
2. Accounts and authorised access
You must provide accurate information, keep credentials and MPINs confidential, limit access to authorised personnel and notify support promptly of suspected misuse. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by a failure within PrimeLock’s control. Accounts and keys may not be sold, shared or transferred except through an authorised PrimeLock workflow.
3. Customer consent and lawful enrolment
Before adding a customer or enrolling a device, the retailer must have a lawful finance or management relationship, clearly explain the device-owner and kiosk capabilities, provide the applicable agreement and privacy notice, and obtain all legally required consent or authorisation. You must not enrol a stolen device, a device you do not have authority to manage, or a person without their knowledge.
4. Responsible use of device controls
Lock, kiosk, application restriction, location, SIM, call, password and similar controls may be used only for the disclosed and lawful purpose connected with the managed device. You must provide reasonable recovery, emergency and support access; verify commands before sending them; promptly remove controls after deregistration or when management authority ends; and never use the Services for harassment, coercion, unlawful surveillance, discrimination, deception or unauthorised access.
5. Finance and payment records
The retailer is responsible for the accuracy of product price, down payment, EMI amount, due date, penalty, promise date, payment status and settlement records. UPI details and QR images must belong to the authorised recipient. Opening a payment application or receiving a customer screenshot does not by itself prove payment; the retailer must verify settlement and update the ledger. Any commercial charges for PrimeLock are governed by the applicable order, invoice or distribution agreement rather than this public page.
6. Customer responsibilities
A customer using a managed device must not attempt to bypass lawful management controls, misuse recovery codes, tamper with the application or impersonate another user. A customer should contact the retailer about finance balances, corrections, payment disputes, deregistration and device access. Emergency services remain governed by the device, network and local availability.
7. Prohibited conduct
You may not reverse engineer or attack the Services; upload malicious or unlawful content; probe accounts or devices without permission; falsify customer, device or payment information; overload communications or send abusive messages; interfere with security or audit logs; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; or use PrimeLock in violation of law, platform rules or a binding agreement.
8. Third-party services
PrimeLock may interoperate with Android, Google services, mapping, telecom, UPI and other third-party applications or infrastructure. Their availability and terms are outside PrimeLock’s control. You are responsible for maintaining compatible devices, connectivity, permissions and third-party accounts where required.
9. Availability, updates and support
We work to keep the Services reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Commands may be delayed by connectivity, device restrictions, vendor behaviour or third-party outages. We may issue updates, change features, perform maintenance or discontinue unsafe or obsolete functionality. Users must install required updates and cooperate with reasonable security instructions.
10. Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or suspended to protect customers, devices or the platform; investigate suspected misuse; comply with law; address unpaid commercial obligations; or enforce these Terms. On termination, you must stop using the Services and complete any required customer handover or deregistration. Lawful audit, finance, security and dispute records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual property
PrimeLock and its software, branding, design and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, authorised users receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Services for their approved business purpose. No ownership rights are transferred.
12. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis. PrimeLock is not responsible for a retailer’s lending decisions, inaccurate records, customer disputes, third-party payment failures, unauthorised commands, network outages, device-vendor restrictions or use outside these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any liability will be limited to direct, proven loss and the amount permitted by the applicable commercial agreement and law.
13. Indemnity
A business user agrees to defend and indemnify the PrimeLock platform operator against third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from that user’s unlawful enrolment, inaccurate finance information, misuse of device controls, violation of privacy or consumer obligations, or breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by PrimeLock’s own wrongful conduct.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties should first attempt to resolve a dispute through the PrimeLock support and grievance process and any dispute process in their commercial agreement. Courts with jurisdiction over the contracting PrimeLock operator will have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer rights and applicable dispute-resolution law.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms for legal, security or product changes. Continued use after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law; where additional consent is required, it will be requested. Questions may be sent to [email protected] or through the PrimeLock contact form.
